Empowering young people to own their economic success
Luther Memorial Learning Center12-2-11 JA in a Day
"Wow!!! I have never had so many teachers come to me to express excitement about a program. Every class is enthused about the materials presented and the presenters, themselves. We are very grateful that you chose us to present this program to. Thank you!!"
- Susan Belott, Principal
Junior Achievement (JA) empowers young people to own their economic success. Our volunteer-delivered, K-12 programs foster work-readiness, entrepreneurship and financial literacy skills, and use experiential learning to inspire kids to dream big and reach their potential.
Through an innovative partnership between the business community, educators and volunteers, Junior Achievement of Western Pennsylvania helps young people connect with relevant learning and the importance of staying in school. JA sparks students to develop competitive skills and confidence. Their success bolsters the local workforce and contributes to economic growth.
